Welcome to the home of Tornado Sailing in the UK.
This page gives an overview of what's happening in the UK but will link you out to the ITA website for more information.
Membership
Membership to the UKITA starts from as little as £30 with full ITA membership from £50. A great small price to help your class run events and help you out over the year. Membership runs from January to December so make sure you renew as soon as you can. Each person taking part in TT events or the Nationals must be a member of the UKITA.

Discounted Insurance
As a UKITA member you are entitiled to a special insurance rate through Dinghy Insure, just go to their website and select 'Tornado UKITA Members Discount Rate'. Thanks to David and his team for offering this discount.

2011 Zhik UK Tornado TT Series
This years TT events will be sponsored by Zhik who will be supplying clothing with an RRP of £2,000 which will be split over the top 3 boats. Well worth the trip to these four events!!
This years TT events will be:
- East Coast Piers Race
- Nationals
- Forts Race
- Weston Cat Open
You must be a fully paid up member of the UKITA to qualify, no discards will be taken from the 4 races.

In 2010 the ITA set up Tornado TV which has been a great success! There are all sorts of videos from Tuning Guides to event videos, the most watched video is still the UK Nationals video from Brightlingsea in 2010, check it out!
